All knives are made wrong!

The reason for this is the handle.  The handle was passed down from the sword.  Which is great for slashing and stabbing but not good for chopping.

After years of working to develop the right handle.  I came up with this. The handle is moved up and the blade is moved back to make for a great feel and center balance.  As well the handle has the proper thumb and four finger slots to ensure a firm and comfortable grip. Each knife is cut, ground, and forged by hand.  One at a time!  We use carbon steel for a sharp clean edge that will come back with a couple swipes of a steel.  We left the patina to make it look like a hand me down knife from your grandparents.

There are two styles.  The long and pointed one for filleting, slicing and finer work. The shorter more stubby style is best for chopping and meat prep.  Both have the custom handle with thumb and four finger slots for a firm and comfortable grip
